I'm starting to plan a mild stroker motor for my iX, which is how I found this site; I googled m20 stroker and found Opyner's article on how-to. Merely convenient that I happen to live in St. Louis.

Thanks for this site; I'll look around!

it's been a while but we're still alive here and I'm still rockin my DirtyThirty. I've got some upgrades lined up for her; 19lb injectors, KA-Motors enclosed cone filter with a ductable inlet, and a Miller MAF conversion w/chip,

Anyone else working on anything exciting?

Asking $450 for it, and all of my BMW parts (was originally going to sell the parts individually) including wheels and tires. anything BMW related in my shed will go with the car.

As it sits now it needs a water pump (will not hold enough water). Temp never went into or above the red.
Might need an alternator as that is directly in the path of the spray from the wp.
Should get timing set and valve adjustment soon and if you've got it that far apart anyways....
Good tires

Extra parts include full set of bottlecaps with junk tires (driftable), and a spare steel wheel.
BNIB rear slotted rotors (ATE brand) ($180)
E36 brake booster (upgrade), misc interior switches, trim, etc. Cap and rotor for distributor. lifetime pads from O'Rielly.

In the last approx 2 years
New battery, waterpump, alternator, sparkplugs, wires, tires, front wheel hub, headlights, most of the taillight bulbs, radiator cap,

Other than the idiot lights the gas and water gauges are the only ones I trusted.
No stereo or speakers to be included, the rewire that I did will stay to support anything you put in.
Pass front window has to be hot wired to go up.
Driver front window gets caught on door prop occasionally.
Passenger doors have the inside panels off at this moment but will be put back together if requested. (front from a break in months ago and the other was starting tint and never finished)
Odometer was broke before I got the car has 250,xxx marked car probably has closer to 315k-330k now

Pics are from when I bought it but nothing has changed visually.

Will be towed to ensure further damage is not done back to my house which is very close to Andy's shop.
This is partially dissembled as I was going to part it but its all there minus the passenger seat.

P/U near Carondelet Park.

- Tail lights, right and left with back plates and bulbs. Really great condition.
- Fog lights - really nice set of fog lights with no pitting. Excellent condition.
- Headlight grills. Very good condition. No weathered paint. Intact top foam.
$40 for pair.
- Right and left hi and lo beam headlights. Halogen. Good condition. I think mine on my IS are different, so just make sure they'll work for you. $50 for pair.

- rear deck lid, black, good condition, no rust. repainted at some point. $40
Probably wouldn't be worth it to ship, but possibly could put it in a bike box.

- Dash, almost excellent condition. Two small imperfections in the photos.
$85 p/u or + 45 for shipping if I get it in a bike box. PM me on this one.
- Door cards for coupe, set of gray on gray door cards. Two smallish nicks on one of the rear cards. The map holder shown has all tabs. I have another one not in the pics that has all its tabs as well and I would include that. $90
- Speaker covers, rear. Foam torn on the inside of one cover. Otherwise good condition. $10
- Cruise control cable and switches, $20
- Headlight switch and harness. Good condition. $10
-Dash and e-brake various trim parts. All very good condition. $6 each
- DDM silver Shifter knob. There are three fastener screws that obviously need to be loctited cause it kept coming loose. Free with $30 worth of stuff.
- Check light panel. Good working condition. $10
- Heat knob, Fan knob with good paint. Delete tab. Digital clock. Defroster, windows, headlight switch. other miscellaneous.
$2 for the really little stuff. $5 for the little stuff, $10 for the big stuff.

- Rotors and pads, set of wagner rotors with a set of thermoquiet pads. Less than 5,000 miles on them. .
$60 for everything.
- Front brake hose. New. $10

- Wipers, pair of new C20UB contour wipers, still in package. $20 for both.
- License plate frames, front and rear, ok condition. $10
- Wiper vents. Just painted. Got a little overzealous on the sanding in one area, but very nice from 5ft out. $15
- wheel center caps, BBS BMW. Two with all clips. One with two clips in back broken. Nor sure if you can jerry-rig it. Includes the handy install key. $20

- Control arm bushings, new, never installed. $20 for pair.
- Wheel bearing, front. FAG. Never opened, brand-new. $75
- Front shock seats. OEM. new condition. $20

- Tool set for trunk. Complete except for what the f fits in the upper right slot anyway. That seems to be missing on every e30 I've seen. Is it for a pacifier? $40

- Harness out of a 91 automatic m20. Intact with some other odds still stuck on. I bought it cause I wanted to use the injector plug, but ended up finding another. Really nice condition. No corrosion that I saw on any of the contacts. $45

Under hood:
- Idle air control unit. Good condition. $30
- Distributor and rotor. Good condition. No scoring on the rotor or contacts. Just a little residue that would come off with a scrubby. $45
- Brake ventilation scoops. 20$
- Washer reservoir. Bluish, as you would expect. otherwise, solid intact plastic. No weaknesses that I could see. $35
- Clutch fan. Good working condition. No evidence of scrapes. Good bearings. $40
- Alternator. Remanned Bosch. Working condition, good bearings. $25
- Crank sensor, FAE 12141720852. Unused. I'll send the other one too in the pic too, which I'm pretty sure is also a crank sensor, but couldn't ref. the part no. Obviously original to car, but worked.
$20 for both.
- OEM Air mass meter boot. Excellent condition. Looks like it had been recently replaced. $15
- Coolant reservoir. Dirty, but nice condition and solid plastic. I'd probably clean it out, but it didn't look like it had a lot of calcified residue. $15
- Idle Air Control Valve. Good working condition. $15
- Brake booster hose and elbows. Good condition on both. $7
- Radiator top clamp. Good condition on bushings. $7
- Spark plug wire plastic harness. Good condition with all snaps intact and no apparent weakness in plastic. $7
- Cranksensor wire guide. excellent condition $5
- Front radiator hose. Very good condition. Oem. $8
- Air intake hose receptacle. Good condition. $10
- Battery positive indicator. $2
- Hood insulation. Not sure exactly how this will ship (will it fold?) $10 PM me.
- Front radiator pipe, pretty good condition. Less goo goo than mine anyway. $10

God bless, Aren't you embarrassed? I wouldn't post any of this if it were me.... Knock on wood, I hope I don't spin out on a highway in a car that has a very low center of gravity someday, but if I did, I'd be looking ways to repair my ego.

I guess there's not enough of us to keep an e30 site alive in St. Louis. An annual e30 even in St. louis would do great things for the midwest scene. (and this site)
I guess that's where I get asked to put it on. Hah. Somebody help me install an S52 and I will do it. Carondelet Park in October.... what do you say?
